Hudsen Froese

Hudsen is a third-year accounting student from Langley, BC. He joined SMIF to better understand how to evaluate stocks for his portfolio. In his free time, he enjoys watching hockey and football.

 

 

 

Carter Tomlin

Carter is a fourth-year finance student from Abbotsford, BC. Looking to gain practical experience and skills in investing and portfolio management from SMIF. Outside of school, he enjoys activities such as skiing and hiking. After graduation, he hopes to work in finance within the Lower Mainland.

 

 

Charlie Farquharson

Charlie is a second-year student from the United States who is aspiring to specialize in finance. This year, he is excited to gain hands-on experience in investment fund management through SMIF. Charlie looks forward to building experience in value investing as well as looking at other investing models. Tinashe Chirara

Tinashe is a third-year business student originally from Zimbabwe, specializing in finance. This year, he looks forward to gaining practical investing experience through SMIF and developing a deeper understanding of equity research. Upon graduation, he aims to apply these skills in a professional finance role.

 

 

Cade Suderman

Cade is a first-year business student at TWU. This year, he is excited to gain hands-on experience in investment management through SMIF. Cade looks forward to building a strong foundation in financial analysis and value investing. In his spare time, Cade enjoys the outdoors with his friends and family.

 

Derek Talstra

Derek is a fourth-year business student double specializing in marketing and finance. He is fairly new to finance and is eager to learn the fundamentals and delve into the field. Outside of school, he loves to skate and snowboard and enjoy nature.

 

 

Valentina Lombardo

Valentina is a first-year student from Mexico, aspiring to specialize in finance with a minor in accounting. She manages the accounts for her father's company, which has given her a foundation in accounting. This experience motivated her to join SMIF to expand her knowledge in finance and gain a deeper understanding of the field. In her free time, she likes to read or spend time with friends.

 

Dhruv Patel

Dhruv is a second-year business student specializing in finance. This year, he is excited to gain hands-on experience in finance through SMIF and learn more about investments. Originally from India, Dhruv is interested in investment banking and private equity. After graduating, he plans to move to the U.S. to pursue a career in corporate finance.

 

Seth Jones

Seth is a second-year business student specializing in accounting/finance. This year, he is excited to learn more about SMIF’s operations and growing the Fund. Originally from Penticton, B.C., Seth brings valuable experience and insights into the domestic Canadian markets. Upon graduating, Seth plans to remain in the lower mainland and go into a corporate finance role.

Logan is a second-year student from the United States, aspiring to specialize in Finance. This year, he is excited to gain hands-on experience in investment fund management through SMIF.
